Richard Roth, B.A., M.A., M.S., Ph.D., Associate Professor

I have taught communication courses in higher education full-time for twelve years. I have also worked, full-time, in public broadcasting as an associate producer. My own education has been interdisciplinary, and has always had a liberal arts underpinning. I have pursued graduate education and professional experiences that encouraged me to connect practical skills in media production with broad intellectual, analytic skills, so that even "hands-on" media production classes will reflect my concern for the social and personal consequences of mediated communication.
