- GRADUATE STUDIES
- STUDENT LIFE
This program exists for students who desire to enter one of the health services fields. Periodic pre-professional meetings are held to inform students of various career options; some of them may include field trips to health care facilities. The Biology faculty orients individual students to the general requirements for admission to medical schools.
Extensive resources, including computer software and videotapes, are available for preparation for the MCAT and DAT examinations.
While specific requirements for admission to professional schools vary considerably, all schools expect applicants to have a demonstrated ability in the physical and life sciences. Biology is often the major chosen, but individual students are urged to choose one consistent with their own interests and aptitudes.
