Small Business Advisory Group

The Business Division has a close affiliation with the New Hampshire Small Business Development Center which "...is the key link to business assistance in New Hampshire and to programs offered through the University System, the State of New Hampshire, the U.S. Small Business Administration and the private sector."  Working in partnership with the NHSBDC, student consulting teams help develop business and marketing plans, market research, and market communication initiatives for small businesses and organizations.

Co-Curricular Opportunities

  • The Small Business Advisory Group (SBA) and Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) offer students a chance to participate in problem-solving activities, such as developing marketing and business plans for profit and nonprofit organizations, including arts groups.

The SBA team works in partnership with the New Hampshire Small Business Development Center. The SIFE team affords students the opportunity to compete against other universities and colleges, and meet executives from Fortune 500 companies.
  • Semester programs abroad, such as Pierce in Vienna, Austria, offer students a full semester of Franklin Pierce University credits. Students are encouraged to pursue independent projects related to arts management and to connect with arts organizations.
