The Alumni Pierce Proud Tour
Franklin Pierce Alumni -- we are so glad you’re stopping by our Pierce Proud Tour page.
Calling all Alumni!
My name is Christina Young, and I’m the Director of the Center for Engagement at Franklin Pierce University. I joined the Institutional Advancement team in October of 2012, and it has been an amazing ride celebrating the 50th Anniversary. This momentous year has allowed me to meet so many of you in person, others on the phone, and many by email. (I hope that at the very least you receive our monthly newsletter! If not, make sure to email me so we can update your contact information.) But as we begin to wrap up the 50th Celebration, I decided it was time we get out on the road and meet more of you in your home towns!
The goal of the Pierce Proud Tour is to focus the efforts of our External Relations Committee on planning events that are regionally targeted where many alumni are living. This does not mean to say we will not try to get to areas where there are fewer alumni – however to start we will aim for where we are heavily saturated. This tour is special, as my goal is to get out and find out why our alumni are “Pierce Proud”. As Franklin Pierce continues to grow, it is imperative that we dig down to our roots and stay true to who we are. As Pierce alumni I hope you will take a moment to take our survey and tell us why you are Pierce Proud: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PierceProud and check out the tour dates in your area below! If you don’t see an event near you, but would like to work with our office on scheduling one, send me an email or give me a call.
If you’d like to follow us on the tour – subscribe to the Pierce Proud Blog: http://pierceproud.wordpress.com/
It was great to see many of you at the Alumni Reunion Weekend on October 4-6. The 50th Anniversary Committee has done an amazing job over the last year, and we enjoyed wrapping up many festivities during the weekend in partnership with the Alumni Reunion Weekend Committee.
Our bags are packed and we’re ready to go, so we’ll see you soon!
