Recreation Facilities

With a private pond for swimming and canoeing, hiking trails on campus, four outdoor tennis courts, two outdoor basketball courts, four playing fields, one indoor basketball court and a state-of-the-art indoor recreational facility, attending a conference at Franklin Pierce will become a memorable experience.

Grimshaw-Gudewicz Activity Center at Northfields
The Grimshaw-Gudewicz Activity Center at Northfields offers a small banquet/viewing room and use of a host of indoor recreational opportunities, such as a running track, turf soccer field, tennis courts, treadmills, lifecycles, rowers, stairclimbers, nautilus circuit, free weights, basketball courts, volleyball courts, and in-line skating.

For activities outside of the University, our conference attendees may enjoy mountain climbing, antique hunting, golf, crafts fairs, scenic drives through breathtaking scenery, quaint New England villages and picturesque lakes. Charming New England towns such as Rindge, Jaffrey, Fitzwilliam, Peterborough, and Keene, make for pleasant sightseeing and shopping.
