My name is Bill Beardslee, Associate Director of Student Involvement and Interfaith Campus Minister. I am an ordained pastor in the United Church of Christ, a pastoral counseling Fellow credentialed by the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and a spiritual director.

By virtue of the nature of this wonderful, private, liberal arts college, personal, cultural, social and religious diversity is encouraged and supported. My role is to assist the various groups and interests as well as offer inter-religious and ecumenical opportunities. Perhaps in the midst of it all we can further our understanding of each other and find deeper unity in our diversity.

I have the privilege of working as advisor to the Clubs and Club Senate of the Student Government Association. My work also takes me into the arena of co-curricular activities planning within the area of Student Involvement.

  • There is a place for students in their various religious or trans-traditional spiritual practices. There is a place for seekers, doubters and inquirers.

There are two formal religious clubs on campus:

  • A Christian students club called AGAPE meets weekly for Bible study, prayer, singing, service, community and occasional retreats. A member of this club takes a shuttle bus to Catholic Mass in nearby Jaffrey, N.H.
  • A Jewish students club called Hillel, Associate Director of Student Involvement and Interfaith Campus Minister meets weekly for discussions, field trips, services outside the campus and all things related to Judaism.
