Assistant Dean of Student Involvement
Scott began working at the university in 1997. In his role as Assistant Dean he advises the Student Government Association Executive Board and Class Officers, administers the Departments of Student Involvement, coordinates New Student Orientation, chairs Student Affairs Leadership, manages Senior Days activities, co-administers the Community Service Program, leads the annual Alternative Spring Break service trip and serves on various University Committees.
Associate Director of Student Involvement and Spiritual Life
As Associate Director, Bill advises the Student Government Association Executive Board, oversees and advises all SGA recognized clubs and assists them in coordinating and implementing their goals, objectives, programs and events and co-administers the Community Service Program. In addition, Bill oversees the Center for Spiritual Life. He is an ordained pastor in the United Church of Christ. He is called upon to advise, assist and coordinate various spiritual/religious groups and interests as well as offer inter-religious and ecumenical opportunities. He is available to the Franklin Pierce community as a spiritual guide and confidant.
Assistant Director of Student Involvement
Derek (Franklin Pierce - Class of 2005) is the Assistant Director; he advises the Pierce Activities Council (PAC), co-supervises of the Peer Leader Program, coordinates evening activities for Orientation/Welcome Week, oversees the operation of the Campus Center Information Desk and co-administers the Community Service Program. In addition, Derek directs the ALANA (African American, Latino, Asian & Native American) Diversity Program.
