Presentation Title: "AI, Reading, Writing, and Cheating: What Concerns YOU about AI use on Franklin Pierce campuses?"

Abstract:

At this moment, students, staff, and faculty have unprecedented access to AI. How is AI helpful and harmful? What do we learn about ourselves and each other when we use AI? In this session trained moderators from the New England Center for Civic Life will open the floor for a moderated concern-collecting session where each person has the opportunity to express their concerns about AI use on college campuses as well as listen carefully to the concerns of others. One moderator will ensure all participants are able to express their concerns and the other moderator will take notes, without names, to gather our concerns. This concern collecting may well lead to further work defining the role of AI on Franklin Pierce University campuses.
