Abstract:

Climate change is a threat to the continued existence of human civilization as we know it. Our health, our food supplies, our cities, towns and homes are imperiled by the increasing heat, extreme storms, rising floods and wild weather associated with climate change. The Institute for Climate Action at Franklin Pierce seeks to increase awareness of this problem and make the case for solutions, at home, on campus, in the local community, and on the global stage. Interns, faculty and staff will present interactive games, demonstrations and activities to educate participants about the problems and the solutions.
