Presentation Title: "Untraceable Weapons: 3-D Printing and Modern ATF Operations"

Abstract:

This presentation describes experiences from a student internship at ATF Manchester New Hampshire office during Summer in 2025. The internship involved working on various aspects of case preparation and research, which allowed for firsthand insight into federal firearms investigations. Building on this experience, the presentation will also provide an examination into the broader research on how ghost guns impact communities across the United States, including trends in criminal activity and regulatory gaps. The presentation concludes by exploring policy considerations, enforcement strategies, and preventative measures aimed at reducing the proliferation of untraceable firearms nationwide.
