RESEARCH INTERESTS AND AREAS
With over 30 years of experience in sports media and broadcasting, I possess extensive
expertise in video production, media management, and live broadcasting, particularly
with ESPN. I have honed my skills in managing live control room environments and overseeing
sports programming across multiple platforms, including TV, digital, and ESPN+. In
addition to my technical media expertise, I bring a strong background in sports management,
where I have led teams, developed talent pipelines, and implemented leadership strategies
within high-pressure environments. As an educator, I integrate real-world applications
into my teaching of courses in sports management, television production, media relations,
and technology, using case studies and hands-on projects to prepare students for success
in the industry.
My proficiency extends to media relations and communication, where I have developed
effective strategies for managing both internal and external communications within
the sports and entertainment sectors. I also possess a deep understanding of media
asset management (MAM) systems and workflows, having implemented standard operating
procedures for digital asset handling and distribution. Technically, I am highly skilled
in utilizing broadcast tools such as Quantel Edit, LiveTouch, and OnePlay, ensuring
seamless media production and event coordination.
Beyond my professional media career, I am deeply committed to community engagement,
serving in nonprofit leadership roles such as with The Miracle League of Connecticut
and Nutmeg Community Television. My entrepreneurial ventures, including facility development
and renovation, further showcase my ability to create sustainable business models
and manage financial forecasting. As a creative individual, I am passionate about
design, producing custom visuals, logos, and branding assets for personal and professional
projects, all of which complement my broad expertise in media production and educational
leadership.

to providing recreational and sporting opportunities for children with physical and
or cognitive challenges at accessible facilities. We are dedicated to the ideal that
“every child deserves a chance to play”.

We provide production studios, equipment and personnel dedicated to increase public
understanding and enjoyment of what’s around them through video. For over 30 years
businesses, organizations and individuals have enriched and educated existing and
