DPT AriZona Educational Philosophy
Become a compassionate, skilled, and reflective physical therapist through a hybrid DPT program that values individual respect, diverse perspectives, and excellence—combining flexible online learning with immersive, hands-on training.
The DPT Program is committed to creating a supportive, challenging, and inclusive learning environment where every student is respected as an individual and encouraged to grow into a compassionate, skilled, and reflective physical therapist. We believe that students learn best when they are actively engaged, supported by faculty mentors, and challenged to think critically and apply knowledge in real-world settings.
Our hybrid model combines online learning with regular live sessions and immersive hands-on weeks to help students develop strong clinical reasoning, professional behaviors, and manual skills. We value open communication, collaboration, and diverse perspectives, knowing that these are essential to both personal and professional growth.
We expect students to strive for excellence, take ownership of their learning, and contribute positively to the program community. In turn, faculty are committed to guiding, supporting, and modeling professional excellence, cultural humility, and lifelong learning.
Together, we prepare to meet the needs of individuals and communities through physical therapy—bringing knowledge, empathy, and integrity to every interaction.
