Choose an area of concentration in K-6, K-8, or Educational Studies. Work closely with your advisor to choose coursework that aligns with your goals, and to prepare for teacher certification. Upon successful completion of all program requirements, you will be recommended for beginning educator certification in New Hampshire. Guidance will be provided if you wish to seek reciprocity with another state.Being close to the Massachusetts state line allows us to offer a variety of classroom experiences in terms of things like size, location, and socioeconomic status.
You also have the opportunity to continue into the Master of Education program at Franklin Pierce.

This club focuses on providing you with tools and experiences that will enhance the skillset needed for all levels of education. It also offers a variety of community service and test preparation opportunities.
If you meet the requirements for induction, you have the opportunity to join this national education honors society. Membership affords you many benefits, including job networking, scholarship money, workshop support, and a gold cord to wear at graduation to stand out from the crowd.
