Presentation Title: "Nazi propaganda"
Abstract:
I am analyzing the Nazis use of propaganda to understand how, when, where and why propaganda is used. The propaganda used during the Nazi regime's goal was to gain support and justify their actions. Their propaganda ranged from newspapers to films in order to accomplish their goal. They focused on antisemitism and Hitler as a leader. Many Nazis believed they were saving Germany from their enemies. They blamed mainly Jews along with Gypsies, Homosexuals, and Individuals of African descent for economic and societal issues. The Nazis out group was fairly large, and they persecuted anyone who was not like minded or “normal” to them. Their propaganda spread disinformation with a heavy focus on emotions and fear. They targeted the heavy nationalistic values of the German people and convinced them they needed to return Germany to their previous state. They justified their actions through their propaganda as necessary action. Nazi propaganda was easily some of the most effective in history.
