Presentation Title: "PO322 Campaigns, Elections, and Policy Process: Findings from our 2024 Election Survey of the Political Beliefs of the Franklin Pierce University Community"
Abstract:
The PO322 Campaigns, Elections, and Policy Process class condcuted a 2024 election survey of the Franklin Pierce University community of faculty, staff and students at Rindge and non-Rindge campuses and program. Prof. Cohen and Ms. Spackova will present on the methodology and findings of the survey regarding the atittudes and beliefs of the FPU community. We will also note shortcomings of the survey, particularly those noted by members of the community who took the survey and saw the results. The strongest pattern, with rare exceptions, is that no matter how our sample is broken down, concerns with material well being rank as the highest priority, which reflects the sentiment of polled American voters.
