TEACHING STATEMENT/PHILOSOPHY
I believe that the best learning is done in a relational classroom environment that gives a lot of room for students to approach the content and experiences from their unique perspectives. Not everyone approaches learning the same way. The more that can be done through experimentation and without expectations of perfection, the better. INSERTCOURSES TAUGHT

RESEARCH INTERESTS AND AREAS
Creative writing, composition, performance, public speaking, communications, crisis communication, and advocacy.
I have a particular interest in the intersection of writing and performance, and how each of those modes of artistic expression can not only inform the other, but apply to other forms of communication and connection.
