Franklin Pierce to Kick-Off NEA Big Read at Grand Monadnock ClimbFranklin Pierce University will kick off its series of NEA Big Read events on September 10th by dedicating its annual Grand Monadnock Climb to Willa Cather, adopting the hashtag #WillaMakeItToTheSummit? Those who reach the summit will be able to participate in a reading from Cather's "My Ántonia", which will be filmed by university students.

Franklin Pierce Receives Lake Management GrantWorking with local lakeshore owners, Franklin Pierce has received a $60,000 Watershed Assistance grant from the NHDES Watershed Management Bureau to improve water quality in picturesque Pearly Pond.
