Alumni Association self-nomination information
Thank you for your interest in joining the Alumni Association Board of Directors. Read on below for more details on the self-nomination process.
Who is eligible?
Individuals who have received a two-year, four-year, or graduate degree or have completed a recognized certificate program from Franklin Pierce College, Franklin Pierce University, or the Physical Therapy program at Notre Dame College are eligible to hold a seat. Your eligibility will be confirmed with the Registrar’s office.
what are term responsibilities?
Members of the Alumni Association Board of Directors serve for a three-year term with the option of a second consecutive three-year term.
Responsibilities include:
- Attending all regular and special meetings of the Board of Directors and Alumni Association.
- Serving on at least one Alumni Association committee.
- Supporting the University financially by contributing at least once annually to the Annual Fund.
- Engaging non-members of the Board of Directors to become involved in activities and committees of the Alumni Association.
What AABOD Seats are Available?
The Alumni Board of Directors consists of 21 members. Each year, seven positions are available. Terms begin each summer at the Annual Meeting hosted during Alumni Reunion Weekend.
when are elections?
The call for self-nominations begins each fall, and the election will occur during the March Alumni Association Board of Directors meeting.
