Reflecting on his election, Mr. Ferreira said, "Being elected as EASFAA President-Elect marks a significant milestone in my career. Since my first EASFAA conference in 1999, I’ve seen firsthand the vital role this organization plays in supporting financial aid professionals and students across our region. It’s a remarkable honor to be the first New Hampshire financial aid professional in 20 years, and the fourth overall, to lead EASFAA. I am immensely grateful for the unwavering support of my colleagues, staff, and President Mooney at Franklin Pierce University. This role is not just a personal achievement but a testament to our university's commitment to excellence in higher education.”
“Franklin Pierce University takes pride in Mr. Ferreira’s commitment to advancing the field of student financial aid,” added President Kim Mooney ’83. “His leadership in EASFAA is a significant contribution to the broader educational community, and it underscores our university’s dedication to fostering professional development and advocacy in higher education.”
EASFAA plays a critical role in the professional growth of student financial aid administrators, offering training, advocacy, education, and leadership development opportunities. The organization is dedicated to creating a diverse and inclusive environment that supports the advancement of its members in higher education.
Under the guidance of Mr. Ferreira, Franklin Pierce University looks forward to witnessing and supporting EASFAA's continued efforts in enhancing communication, collaboration, and professional growth among its members across the region.
