Ravens gathered at the Jason Ritchie Ice Arena in Winchendon, MA to participate in the 2017 Alumni Winter Games. Ice hockey was the game of the day. Tom Cameron ’85 played in goal representing Team Crimson while Matt McCarthy ’11 guarded the net for Team Gray. Current hockey player Justin Blanchette ’21 served as the referee and Kyle Gosselin ’20 was the time keeper.
While the game was in motion, alumni, parents and family members cheered on their favorite Ravens, bringing back memories of their days at Pierce. Even former coaches John Cunningham and Jay McCormack ’86 came out to cheer on the players. The afternoon was spent supporting the Womens’ Ice Hockey and Mens’ Ice Hockey teams at their games. A wonderful time was had by all and congratulations to Team Gray for the win!
A big thank you goes out to Coach Sean Millerick and Tom Fahey along with the Alumni Hockey Committee, Coursen Schneider ’09, Josh Lupinek ’09, Mark Gibbons ’06, Rob Perretta ’09, Roscoe Sweeney ’13, Tom Cameron ’85, Hayley Arnold ’16, MBA ’18, and Ed Farinato ’05 for organizing the fun weekend!
