Franklin Pierce University's College of Business Receives Reaccreditation from International Accreditation Council for Business Education

Franklin Pierce University’s College of Business was recently reaccredited for its business-related degree programs by the Board of Commissioners of the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). The IACBE is nationally-recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and is the leader in mission-driven and outcomes-based programmatic accreditation in business and business-related education for colleges, universities, and other higher education institutions. This most recent accreditation is granted through July 31, 2028.

“The reaccreditation of our business-related degree programs highlights the strength of our undergraduate and graduate offerings within the College of Business,” said Dr. Norm Faiola, Dean of the College of Business. “Through our commitment to a rich, diverse, and supportive learning environment, we are ensuring our students acquire the knowledge and skills required for success in tomorrow’s workforce.”

The programs granted accreditation include undergraduate majors Accounting/Finance, Healthcare Administration, Management, Marketing, and Sports & Recreation Management. The graduate programs are the Master of Business Administration (MBA) with concentrations in Energy and Sustainability Studies, Health Administration Human Resource Management, Information Technology, Leadership, and Sports Management, as well as the Master of Science in Accounting program.

The IACBE accreditation process is a rigorous process of self-evaluation and independent peer review. Dean Faiola notes that the success of the reaccreditation would not have been possible without the College’s faculty and staff. “I want to acknowledge the faculty and staff within the College of Business for their dedication in maintaining our high standards for accreditation and their work during the reaffirmation process.”
