Career Counseling at Franklin Pierce University Open to Local Community During Summer Drop-In Sessions
May 18, 2018
The Career Center at Franklin Pierce University welcomes community members to drop in for free informal career counseling sessions on Wednesdays from 10 – 12 p.m., from June 6 through August 15. Come for individualized help with writing a cover letter or resume, practicing your “pitch,” creating a LinkedIn profile, preparing for interviews, or exploring new career paths.
Franklin Pierce University partnered with the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript and the Concord Monitor to offer two career fairs in April that were open to the community. Over 60 community members utilized the Career Center resources at the events held in Rindge and Concord, including job seekers interested in first jobs, mid-career changes, and retirement jobs. Surveyed participants found the events valuable, and the summer drop-in sessions will provide additional opportunities for personalized assistance.
Misty Start, Director of Career Services and Experiential Learning, and Ann Goodrich Bazan, Assistant Director of Career Services, will be available for individual and small group meetings on a drop-in basis. The Career Center is located on the fifth floor of the DiPietro Library on the Rindge campus of Franklin Pierce University. If you have questions, contact Misty Start, (603) 899-1070 or .
