Doctor of Physical Therapy (NH), Class of 2019 Pinning Ceremony
Jun 6, 2018

On Friday, May 25, 2018, faculty, family and friends gathered at our Manchester NH Center to celebrate the Doctor of Physical Therapy Class of 2019 at their Pinning Ceremony. The pinning of students represents their move from the didactic portion of their education to their clinical rotation portion.
After a welcoming from Program Director, Dr. Mary Palaima, and remarks from Dean, College of Graduate and Professional Studies, Dr. Mary Altobello, Corey Pelsor (DPT ’19) generated laughter from his classmates and the audience when he reflected on his experiences at the Manchester NH Center.
Afterward, a new twist this year. The students presented a video thanking the faculty and staff for all their hard work and assistance in their educational experience these last two years.
Faculty members Dr. Joseph Girard and Dr. Jennifer Parent-Nichols each gave the students some sage advice and encouragement as they move forward in their education. Both wishing them well on the next leg of their journey.
Following the presentation of their pins, the Class of 2019, along with assembled faculty, read the Physical Therapy Oath.
Congratulations Class of 2019 and good luck on your clinical rotations!
