In an effort to nurture young reporters and college journalists from across the country, the Emmy Award winning "Dan Rather Reports" will air footage from these students, chronicling the situation at their local polling stations on this historic Election Night.
"Dan Rather Reports On Politics: Election Night 2008" will kick off at 7:00 p.m. ET in front of a live audience from the Newseum in Washington D.C.
Rather champions the cause of nurturing young reporters, and tomorrow night the program will give these college students a chance to shoot video from each home town and to report this local news to a national audience. The students will upload the footage to a special site where it will then be aired as a part of HDNet's live Election Night coverage.
