“Starting a Small Business”

Franklin Pierce University, in partnership with the New Hampshire Small Business Development Center (NH SBDC), will present "Starting a Small Business" on Wednesday, March 22, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the John D. Perkins Sr. Academy in Marlow, N.H.
Dr. Jason Little, professor of marketing at Franklin Pierce University and Nancy DuBosque, regional director of Keene SBDC will give a presentation to help guide those who are thinking of starting a business or currently own a small business.
Topics of the presentation include what it takes to be an entrepreneur, creating a business readiness checklist, developing a marketing and financial plan, and learning more about resources that are available to help start-up businesses in the state.
Little and DuBosque have worked with many start-up companies, small businesses, and entrepreneurs of all ages throughout the Monadnock region.
"Franklin Pierce University has a terrific partnership with NH SBDC. For over two decades, faculty and students have consistently provided thoughtful business strategies and metrics for business clients throughout southern New Hampshire," said Little.
The NH SBDC is a cooperative venture of the U.S. Small Business Administration , the State of NH (DRED) , the University of NH 's Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics , and the private sector.
