Founder’s Day Celebration Planned at Franklin Pierce University

Franklin Pierce University will host a Founder’s Day celebration to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the day Franklin Pierce was incorporated and chartered on Wed., Nov. 14, at Cheney Hall on the Rindge campus. A ceremony and program will begin at 3:30 p.m., followed by a presentation at 4 p.m. by Professor Peter Wallner about the life and times of the University’s namesake, Franklin Pierce – the only U.S. president from New Hampshire.
