Take a moment...with Carolyn Hall
KTUU-TV
Anchorage, AK, October 16, 2008
ANCHORAGE - Carolyn was born and raised in Whitman, Massachusetts. Freshly removed from the comfy confines of the South Shore with an aspiration of working in news, KTUU-TV has been the perfect fit.
Carolyn studied journalism and media production at Franklin Pierce College in New Hampshire, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications in 2003. During her time at Franklin Pierce, she interned at CNN-Boston and at the Boston Red Sox. After graduation, Carolyn stayed on with the Red Sox, working in their TV and Video Production Department.
Four and a half years and over 500 baseball games later, Carolyn felt the desire to grow professionally down other avenues, so she became a freelance editor in the Boston area. But that did not satisfy her for long, as she decided to be Alaska bound with a new career as a photojournalist.
Storytelling is Carolyn's passion and she does all she can to visually and fairly represent the subject, as they share their story.
In her spare time, Carolyn enjoys editing, still photography, hiking, playing softball and keeping herself up to date with the goings-on of the news industry.
