Franklin Pierce University Presents Options to Lebanon College Students
Sep 1, 2014

Franklin Pierce University’s College of Graduate & Professional Studies (CGPS) is
reaching out to students at the newly closed Lebanon College to offer its displaced
students an opportunity to continue their education close to home or online.
An Open House has been set for Tuesday, Sept. 2, 3-8 p.m. at Franklin Pierce University
at Lebanon
for students interested in meeting with University representatives to learn about
their options. Franklin Pierce at Lebanon is located at 24 Airport Road, Suite 19,
in West Lebanon.
Franklin Pierce University President James F. Birge recently met with Ron Biron, president
of Lebanon College, to discuss ways that Franklin Pierce could best extend a welcome
to Lebanon College students. A tuition discount and transfer of credit package has
subsequently been set up by the University. “We are well known for being student-centered
at Franklin Pierce,” said Chris Audino, Center Director of Franklin Pierce at Lebanon,
“and it was only natural for us to reach out with this personalized program for displaced
Lebanon College students.”
Franklin Pierce at Lebanon has online as well as hybrid undergraduate programs that
can provide ready alternatives to students of the defunct two-year private institution.
Displaced Lebanon College students can find out about tuition discount eligibility
and transfer credit opportunities at the Open House, or by contacting
Admissions at cgps@franklinpierce.edu or 1 (800) 325-1090.
The next start of six possible CGPS term start dates throughout the academic year
at Franklin Pierce at Lebanon is September 15, 2014.
Franklin Pierce at Lebanon offers Associate of Arts, Bachelor of Arts, and Bachelor
of Science degree programs, as well as undergraduate certificate programs in Human
Services and Paralegal Studies. It is also home to the University’s Master of Physical
Assistant Studies program.
