Ravens in the Community: FPU SAAC Raises Money for Make-A-Wish Foundation

Last Thursday evening, the Franklin Pierce University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) hosted a single elimination dodgeball tournament in the activity bubble.
SAAC asked for a 25 dollar donation (five dollars per person) for a team which benefitted the Make-A-Wish Foundation. There were 30 teams in attendance with squads coming from various areas of campus for the single elimination mixed tournament. The "Men's Basketball Dodgeballers" won the tournament while team "Flower Power" took home the best-dressed award.

"The energy and support were great!" said SAAC present and former men's soccer player Hamish Cadigan. "It was awesome to see the whole University come together to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The atmosphere was dynamic; everyone was dressed up having a good time supporting each other and a great cause."
