June’s selected reading will be WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING by Delia Owens, a New York
Times bestseller about Kya Clark, the "Marsh Girl," from the haunted Barkley Cove,
North Carolina. When the charming Chase Andrews is found dead late in 1969, Kya is
suspected. The New York Times Book Review says CRAWDADS is: "Painfully beautiful ...At
once a murder mystery, a coming-of-age narrative, and a celebration of nature."
Members of the English Faculty will be hosting the ZOOM book group on June 26 at 6 pm. To join, please email deckerd@franklinpierce.edu.
