Governor O’Malley and Senator Graham in Rindge on Monday
The road to the White House will travel through Rindge, New Hampshire when U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R) and former Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley (D) visit Franklin Pierce University, Monday, November 23, 2015 as part of the Fitzwater Presidential Forums.
“We’re very excited to have Senator Graham and Governor O’Malley come to Pierce to engage in the kind of retail politics that New Hampshire is known for,” said Andrew Card, President of Franklin Pierce University. “ This is a great opportunity for our students, who are already very engaged and excited about this election, to have this kind of access to the candidates.”
Governor Martin O'Malley is scheduled to talk with students and faculty from 11 am
- 12:15 pm at the Fitzwater Center Television Studio while South Carolina’s Senior
Senator, Lindsey Graham will be in the studio from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm.
“The Fitzwater Center is pleased to be a stop on the road to the White House,” said
Dr. Kristen Nevious, director of the Marlin Fitzwater Center for Communications at
Franklin Pierce University. “We look forward to welcoming both candidates as we bring
forth the robust debate that is critical to the health of our nation's democracy and
of vital interest to the Monadnock region.”
Graham is the third Republican Presidential candidate to visit the Franklin Pierce
campus. Former Gov. George Pataki (R) spoke to the campus on May 5 and Senator Ted
Cruz (R) was on campus on May 29. O’Malley is the first of the Democratic candidates
to visit to Franklin Pierce.
