Fitzwater Presidential Forum to Host Rand Paul
Dec 9, 2015

The road to the White House will once again travel through Rindge, New Hampshire when U.S. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky holds a town hall meeting at Franklin Pierce University on Friday, December 11th as part of the Fitzwater Presidential Forums.
“We’re very excited to have Senator Paul come to Pierce to engage in the kind of retail politics that New Hampshire is known for,” said Andrew Card, President of Franklin Pierce University. “ This is a great opportunity for our students, who are already very engaged and excited about this election, to have this kind of access to the candidates.”
Paul is scheduled to talk with students, faculty and staff at 7 pm in Spagnuolo Hall. The event is free and is open to the public.
“The Fitzwater Center is pleased to be a stop on the Senator's campaign,” said Dr. Kristen Nevious, director of the Marlin Fitzwater Center for Communications at Franklin Pierce University. “We look forward to welcoming Rand Paul as we bring forth the robust debate that is critical to the health of our nation's democracy and of vital interest to the Monadnock region.”
Senator Paul is the fifth Presidential candidate to visit Franklin Pierce. Senator Lindsay Graham, who is also seeking the GOP nomination, visited campus last month along with former Maryland Governor and Democratic hopeful, Martin O'Malley.
