Commencement Regalia
Academic regalia is worn by all students who march in the Commencement processional. Baccalaureate degree and graduate students wear a black gown, mortarboard (black hat), tassel and a colored hood that indicates the field of study. Associate degree students do not wear a hood. Regalia has been ordered for all graduates.
The cost of your regalia is included in your graduation fee.
Cap and Gowns for Graduates
For traditional, on-campus students, academic regalia (caps, gowns and hoods) needed to be ordered online by March 30, 2025 via this website.
The cost of your cap & gown is covered in the commencement fee, and will ship to the Rindge Campus. Pick up times will be communicated once with ordering window has closed. If you would like to have your cap and gown shipped to your home, there is a $12.95 shipping fee
For those residential students, pick-up information is forthcoming.

Please note:
- Students will need their ID with them to pick up their regalia.
- If you must arrange for another student to pick up your regalia, please clarify this by emailing Dean of Student Affairs, Zauyah Waite, at waitez@franklinpierce.edu
- Any regalia not picked up during the times above will be registered as a package and can be picked up in the mail room during mailroom hours.
