Congratulations to the Class of 2022 Valedictorian and Salutatorian!

Franklin Pierce University is proud to announce that Viridiana Vasquez Kloss has earned the distinction of being named Valedictorian for the Class of 2022, and Isabella Niemi has been named the class's Salutatorian. These two outstanding undergraduate students will be formally recognized at the University's Baccalaureate Ceremony and Commencement Exercises in May.

 

Viridiana Vasquez Kloss

Viridiana Vasquez Kloss (left), from Veracruz, Mexico, majored in Management in the College of Business while also earning a minor in Marketing. She is a member of Alpha Chi National Honor Society and Sigma Beta Delta Business Honor Society. Viridiana also has been employed as a student worker in the University's Environmental Services Department throughout her time as an undergrad student. 

Captain of the women's soccer team, she was named an Academic-All American and 24 Elite Award winner. Since completing her degree in December 2021, she has signed her first professional soccer contract and is currently playing professional soccer for Puebla W FC in Liga, Mexico. Viridiana plans to continue playing professional soccer as long as she is physically able to do so, and she gives a big shout out to everyone at FPU who was patient with her unstoppable energy.

Isabella Niemi

Isabella Niemi (right), from Fitzwilliam, N.H., majored in Biology while earning minors in Chemistry and Visual Arts. A member of the University's Honors Program, and the Alpha Chi and Sigma Zeta Honor Societies, she tutored fellow students in College Algebra, Genetics, and Organic Chemistry at the Student Success Center (SCC). Isabella will begin the MD program at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California this summer. She would like to express her gratitude to “the FPU faculty and staff for their encouragement and expanding my knowledge of the intricacies of life, and to my family and friends for their love and support.”
