Presentation Title: "Caenorhabditis elegans and F59.B1 Knockout Gene Using Angiopoietin-2"
Abstract:
Our laboratory has been investigating ongoing research in functional genomics, specifically
targeting the unidentified function of gene F59.B1 and its correlation with cancer
and the immune system in the human body. By utilizing a type of nematode, C. elegans,
and observing their survival rates in the absence of the protein Angiopoietin-2 (ANG-2),
we are examining the role of the F59.B1 genome when Ang 2 is present. By regulating
standard procedures to prevent contamination and systematic worm fatality, C. elegans
survivability has been optimized.
