Franklin Pierce University estimates that more than 1350 students enrolled on either
the Rindge Campus coupled with over 250 students enrolled in either the University’s
Doctor of Physical Therapy or Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies programs would
be eligible to apply for CARES Act funding.

1. $700,323 in CARES Act funds that must be awarded directly to students for eligible
expenses incurred as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic
2. $700,324 in CARES Act funds that may be used to offset expenses incurred by the
University

students and families of the availability of CARES Act funds and the application process.

Franklin Pierce University was notified that our application for $700,323 in CARES
Act fund has been both processed and approved. Initial reporting requirements were
communicated by the US Department of Education via Electronic Announcement on 5/6/2020

Reminder email notice notices were sent to all eligible students to complete and submit CARES Act application
materials by June 1, 2020 for consideration of eligible expenses.
