Rock Band Unplugged

Campfire-style acoustic performances by the Contemporary Music Ensemble, made up of Music Majors and Minors, led by Professor Lou Bunk. |

The Raven Concert Band, led by Athletic Bands Director Cameron Rodriquenz, is an extension of the University’s Athletic Bands program, with members who also perform in the FPU Raven Marching and Pep Bands. The ensemble will perform two works. The first, Byzantine Dances by Carol Brittin Chambers, draws on the character of Turkish dance traditions. The second is a classic of wind band literature: the “March” from Second Suite in F for Military Band by Gustav Holst. This movement, the first of four, features settings of traditional British folk tunes. |
